The unending endeavor to make sense of reality has fallen upon religion and science. It seems that the two disciplines are at constant odds. In search of absolute knowledge, science has taken the task to understand the world upon itself. With unyielding adherence to dogma, religion has stuck its head in the sand. Nevertheless, the two studies are meant to be reconciled. Neither should seek to replace the other, but complement its opposite by painting a more complete picture of reality. The necessity of meaning and the onset of modern science support a world in which physical and non-physical truth are equally essential.
